Many colleges and universities are now stuck in the same place.  They are trying to figure out how they can have an event for their students this fall that is fun but follows the social distancing guidelines!  Aaron provides outstanding entertainment suitable for Homecoming Week, Parent's Day, and Welcome Week for incoming freshman.
 
What if you could host an event that meets those exact criteria?
Every university is different and they each want to give their students the best experience possible.  We have multiple ideas about how to bring Aaron Gillam’s Comedy Hypnosis show to your campus this year.  

1) Hold Aaron's Comedy Hypnosis Show outside.
For Aaron's Comedy Hypnosis show, he just needs chairs, a sound system, and space to perform the show.  The space may be a stage so the show can be seen or he could be on the ground and have an elevated audience.

​There are lots of options if the event is outdoors. 

• The show could be held at the stadium.  If you have a large screen or LED scoreboard the show could be projected onto the large screen using a camera set up on the field and Aaron on a stage at the end of the field.  Another option is the show could be performed in the middle of the field surrounded on each side by audience members. The volunteers would be seated in a circle in the middle of field while the audience can then be socially distanced around the stadium.
• The show could be held outside on the quad or other field.  It could be projected onto a large screen  or even perform surrounded.
• The show could be held on the baseball field with the audience in the bleachers and the participants on the in-field. 
• Advantages include less need for masks and large outdoor area so more room for social distancing.

2) Hold Aaron's Comedy Hypnosis Show in your gym or arena.
For Aaron's Comedy Hypnosis show, he just needs chairs, a sound system, and space to perform the show and the gym floor is a perfect location.

• If you have a large screen or LED scoreboard the show could be projected onto the screen using a camera set up on the floor and Aaron on a stage at the end of the field house. 
• Another option is the show could be performed in the middle of the gym floor.  The volunteers would be seated in a circle in the middle of gym while the audience can then be socially distanced around the gym.
• Advantages include that it is large area so more room for social distancing and the show is not weather permitting because it is inside and temperature controlled.

 
3) Hold Aaron's Comedy Hypnosis Show in your theater or auditorium.
This is probably the place that Aaron has performed the most doing his past hypnosis shows.  It is still possible to perform in a theater depending on the number of people in the theater.

• Space the audience members throughout the auditorium using social distancing guidelines.
• Aaron can still bring volunteers to the stage.  It will be less volunteers than usual but he can follow social distancing guidelines on stage.

• Advantages include that most theaters already have a sound system and the show is inside in a temperature controlled area.

4) Hold MULTIPLE Comedy Hypnosis Shows.
This would apply to any of the above mentioned locations. It is quite possible to do multiple shows in the same area spaced throughout the day.  

• This option allows you to break your students into groups.  For example, one group of students can see the show at 2 pm the next group at 4 pm and so on.
• Advantages include that more students can volunteer for the hypnosis show and you can socially distance the audience members in the venue.

5) Hold Aaron's Comedy Hypnosis Show in your theater and ZOOM (or other group meeting technology) the show to your groups of students.
It is quite possible to do Aaron's Comedy Hypnosis Show in one area of campus and using various technology send the show out virtually to students.

• This option allows you to break your students into groups at various locations (classrooms) throughout campus and have them watch the show in small groups.
• Advantages include that you can follow much stricter guidelines for social distancing using this method and students get to experience the show in small groups which can help them form bonds.

6) Hold Aaron's Comedy Hypnosis Show in your cafeteria.
This might be an option for smaller colleges or universities, although if you did multiple shows Aaron could travel around campus to various cafeterias to perform his Comedy Hypnosis Show. 

• Advantages include that you can follow much stricter guidelines for social distancing using this method and students get to experience the show in smaller groups in their own dormitories.

How would Aaron's Comedy Hypnosis Show follow the social distancing guidelines?

• Aaron will use social distancing when placing the volunteers in their seats on stage.  Volunteers do not have to lean over onto each other. They do not have to touch each other during the show either.  The show will still be FUN from beginning to end!
• Aaron MAY have to touch volunteers on their wrists or shoulders during the show.  He will utilize various methods during the show to reduce the amount of contact during the show.  Volunteers will use hand sanitizer during the show. 
• Volunteers may or may not need to wear masks during the show.  This would be determined by each university depending on location of the event.  Facial expressions of volunteers are certainly more entertaining to see during the show but if those masks are required, audience members will still have fun seeing these volunteers on stage.
